Steroids can accelerate male-pattern baldness. They keep closing in on Mecha Nadal's head. He's 24 and it's looking very thin on top....

Yup, was noticing the thinning on top today as well. Did you see the ridiculous shot on the 2nd set point in the 1st set? I'm a tennis pro and no one on earth can get that much power and speed naturally from such out-of-position positions....

Comment on My New Personal Knife by John P

Thanks for the compliments. :-)

I totally agree with you that the knives I have on the site at the moment are not fighting knives. These knives are all more utilitarian. In the case of this particular knife it is very "showy". Don't get me wrong, it is a great knife for general use, but lets face it no one really NEEDS a damascus blade with resin injected, buffed scales for a daily carry knife.

If I were to build a true fighter, I would likely use a rough micarta handle with a large guard and a thicker more grippy handle. Perhaps I'll have to try my hand at one of those sometime soon...

Thanks again,

John

I like all your knives.
The shape of the blades is outstanding.
The technical details you describe indicate a care in construction that you can be proud of.

God forbid that you should ever have to fight your knives, though. The handles on your knives are too small around and too round. I believe that you would find that the knife would twist in your hand because your hand would be very wet with sweat (and blood).

This is a great knife. I use it very frequently and it has maintained its sharpness better than any knife I have owned. I have yet to find a food that it wasn't up for task. It's small size and sharp edge make it very good for precise cutting.
